Precipitated Barium Sulfate
Precipitated Barium Sulfate (BaSO₄) is produced using advanced domestic chemical precipitation methods. The product has excellent physical properties, with minimal mechanical impurities and uniform particle size. It is a white powder or paste, insoluble in water, soluble in fuming sulfuric acid, and slightly soluble in boiling hydrochloric acid. The chemical properties are stable, and it does not change color when exposed to hydrogen sulfide or toxic gases in the air. The product can absorb X-rays and γ-rays, providing materials with high density and smooth surface finish, making it widely used in industries such as paints, inks, coatings, plastics, rubber, ceramics, glass, electronics, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and food.
