Yuejiang Brand - Lithopone B301

Lithopone is a white crystalline powder, composed of a mixture of zinc sulfide (ZnS) and barium sulfate (BaSO₄). The more zinc sulfide it contains, the stronger the hiding power and the higher the quality of the product. Lithopone has a density of 4.136–4.34 g/cm³ and is insoluble in water.

• Decomposes when exposed to acids, releasing hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) gas.
• Not reactive to hydrogen sulfide or alkaline solutions.
• Becomes light gray when exposed to ultraviolet light for 6–7 hours, but regains its original color when stored in dark conditions.
